Madhubani

Madhubani, which means "forests of honey" in the original language, is a rural art form created by women in the Mithila region of the Indian state of Bihar. With their geometrical patterns and rich hues, these eye-catching and vibrant paintings have a very distinctive style that draws the observer in. The margins or borders of the paintings are typically also adorned with geometric patterns, flowers, or other themes. The colours are eye-catching, vivid, and dazzling.
